SCGOP State Executive Committee members from all 46 counties across South Carolina were welcomed to the State EC meeting in Columbia on Saturday … except for one … attorney, CPA, school choice advocate, mySCGOP.com co-founder, the #2 voter-getter for State Chairman at the May 20th SCGOP State Convention (with 309 votes, 33.0%) (HERE & HERE)… former Greenville County Chairman and current Greenville State Executive Committeeman, Jeff Davis.
Upon arrival, Mr. Davis was met by two City of Columbia police officers and told he would not be allowed into the meeting.
Seriously, what is Drew & the “establishment” scared of? Perhaps they should be scared … but this only makes it worse!
Is this because Chairman Drew McKissick only squeaked by, with his re-election on May 20th, by 16 votes … and this is just another desperate attempt to cancel his opponents? It seems that way to us.
What do you think?
NO UNITY FROM DREW!
Well, we have been asking for UNITY (HERE & HERE) … but now we know the answer from Drew McKissick and the SCGOP “establishment” … it’s going to be more of the same.
No unity, not working together to further the South Carolina Republican Platform … just more of the same heavy handed, dictatorial & tyrannical leadership of Drew McKissick.
Doesn’t this sound like the same thing the “weaponized” Biden Department of Justice is doing today to President TRUMP? The actions that Republicans are all up in arms about across this country … and the actions which have skyrocketed the TRUMP campaign poll numbers (and tanked Ron DeSantis)?
Does anyone see much of a difference between the actions of Drew … and the actions of Biden & his cronies? We surely don’t … they both seem eerily the same!
Formal Protests … is this legal?
Formal protests by other members of the State EC were made at the meeting … and after a Motion by Greenville Chairman Yvonne Julian to allow Mr. Davis into the meeting … reportedly only 60% of the body agreed to the barring … so BRAVO to the 40% that see this as a “problem” for the SCGOP’s image (if not also a major legal problem for the SCGOP and involved parties).
Experts in Robert’s Rules of Order have all concluded thus far that the actions of Chairman McKissick, Hope Walker, and the 60% of the State EC supporting them, were improper. Legal experts are also questioning the actions. It certainly does not pass the smell test to us.
Stay tuned …
“We don’t care …”:
What was however particularly offensive was the attitude of some parties in attendance at the State Executive Committee meeting on Saturday.
Particularly offensive were the statements of Lancaster Chairman & former SC House Rep. Sandra McGarry (954-821-4203 ·mumsy241@yahoo.comsandymcgarrysc44@gmail.com), who was one of the 60% supporting this barring. Ms. McGarry went so far as to state that even though Jeff Davis received 456 votes for State EC at the April 24th Greenville County Republican Party Convention … “they” did not care how many votes Davis received, whether it was 456 or 3.
Basically Ms. McGarry does not care what the Republican voters of Greenville County want … even though Greenville represents well over 11% of the state population … and a much larger percentage of Republicans in South Carolina.
“This is the sort of elitism, arrogance, and tone deafness that is destroying the Republican brand and the Republican Party itself … and why so many new folks are getting involved on a daily basis to rid the GOP of these sort of influences” … Jeff Davis
Hope Walker Email (6/15/2023):
Although Davis announced months ago that he was running for State EC from Greenville County … specifically to attend these State EC meetings to represent the America FIRST movement … it was not until 1 day before this past weekend’s first State EC meeting that SCGOP Executive Director Hope Walker sent an email stating that Davis could not attend.
[NOTE: This is a typical “tactic” … wait until the last minute to raise any issues so that the matter could not be resolved timely.]
Hope’s “excuse”? A vote on December 11, 2021, whereby Davis was barred from State EC meetings because he allegedly lied about an ongoing criminal SLED investigation of Newberry County State EC & former SCGOP Chairman, Chad Connelly. Chad is Drew McKissick’s mentor … so the statement about the SLED investigation, even though true, did not sit well with Chairman McKissick.
Although Mr. Connelly admittedly denied there was a SLED investigation … two days later, the State Law Enforcement Division (SLED) confirmed an ongoing year and a half investigation into the alleged embezzelment of $275,406 by Connelly from a school choice scholarship program for K-12 children with special needs. Davis was aware of the investigation since he had reported the matter and met with SLED on multiple occasions.
A few days later, SC Attorney General Alan Wilson’s Office stated they would not be prosecuting Mr. Connelly (who is a long-term personal friend and political ally of AG Wilson) because even though the money was gone, they did not believe Mr. Connelly had the requisite criminal intent.
Otherwise stated … the money was gone … but Chad didn’t mean to take it?
Every hear of that? We haven’t either … and it is completely subjective.
GCRP Chairman Response (6/16/2023):
Greenville Chairman Yvonne Julian did follow-up with Ms. Walker on Friday, June 16th. No further communications were received in response from Ms. Walker.
It had been well established that since County Chairman are technically “guests” at State EC meetings, the December 11, 2021 barring of Davis was only possible because Davis was a “guest” and not an official member of the State EC.
[NOTE: Davis was never given an opportunity to defend himself at the initial barring in December 2021 … nor was he afforded an opportunity to speak this past weekend.]
In fact, then GCRP Chairman Davis attended State EC meetings after the December 2021 barring as the automatic proxy for Greenville County … so Hope Walker’s June 15th email was certainly a stretch … not to mention the issues with state election law (Section 7-9-90) and SCGOP Rule 7(c)(1).
There is a lot to process … which is obviously why Hope Walker and Drew McKissick waited until the last moment to inform Davis and the Greenville County Republican Party of their position.
How Did Your State EC Vote?
There is obviously much more to come with this story … so stay tuned … but in the interim, ask how your County Executive Committeeman VOTED?
We know Greenville, Anderson, Pickens, York, Lexington, Barnwell & Dorchester all voted against these improper actions … but how about your county???
Given there were 47 credentialed voters at the State EC meeting on Saturday, we estimate that 19 +/- voted in favor of Davis … so 28 +/- went along with the “establishment” … and we bet a lot of them did not fully understand what was exactly going on.
When you find out how your county voted … let us know.
Last week FITSNews put out an article about the SC Speaker of the House entitled “Murrell Smith Has Lost His Ability To Lead”. (HERE).
Questioning the Speaker’s ability to lead was one thing (and we loved it) … but we found a quote in the article that “IF” all our MAGA America First friends would learn and truly understand, we would win this war with the RINOs … and Save America in the process.
Take a read … and maybe read it twice …
“Power, in an ideal world, is wielded by principled officials with the consent – and in the interests – of the governed. In reality, though, it is wielded by powerful special interests who use elected officials as their puppets. As a result, the goal of “governing” becomes advancing those special interests while doing just enough to fool just enough of the voters into believing you are still serving their interests.”
“The more the curtain is peeled back, though, the harder it becomes to keep the puppet show going… especially when the objectives of these special interests run completely counter to the will of the electorate.”
– FITSNews 4/24/2025
Do you see it? Do you realize that none of this world of politics is about the Will of The People? Do you understand you can’t trust any of them … and as we would add, especially don’t trust the ones you like? Didn’t we see this with what essentially every SC State Senator did to Treasurer Curtis Loftis on April 21st, 2025 … and their “railroading of US”? (HERE)
It is all about OVERSIGHT … by The People … by YOU … by US … and it takes calling out the “drift” to the center (or worse, to the left) we see with all good conservative elected officials … most within months of being elected.
Yes, WE are peeling back the curtain. WE are winning. But learn to trust your gut, learn to question everything, and learn to trust nothing as is necessary!!!
WE The People win first by knowing what this “game” (as they see it) is really about … and secondly by knowing this applies to ALL elected officials … including the ones you like … especially the ones you like. No one is immune.
If you will learn just that … WE can Save America.

Jeff Davis on In Depth with Mason Sims – 4/24/2025 (HERE)
There is a lot going on in the way of discussion about (#1) the SC Senate’s Railroading of Treasure Curtis Loftis (or really the railroading of “US”) … & (#2) the SCGOP Convention on May 3rd.
Here is a quick live podcast video of Jeff Davis on In Depth with Mason Sims from last that we think you may enjoy.

Yesterday was 10 hours and 15 minutes of pure railroading of the most popular elected public official in the State of South Carolina … Treasurer Curtis Loftis.
At the end of the night, “our” SC State Senators voted 33 to 8 in favor of S 534 (HERE) … a Concurrent Resolution on the “removal” of Curtis Loftis.
But none of this had to do with Curtis Loftis … if had to do with YOU … with US.
If you watch the video you can tell the utter distain our SC State Senators have for US and our opinions. We had over 400 simultaneous viewers on our live stream yesterday … all furious about what they were witnessing. Many had never actually watched a video of the proceedings at the SC Statehouse … never seen what really happens in Chambers on the live feed. Well, now they have, and now they know exactly how bad it is.
We have watched this for just over 10 years in our School Choice battle. Yesterday was no different. The Senate had it’s mind made up BEFORE the proceedings started … and nothing was going to change the outcome. It was all about the MONEY … and their petty vendettas … it had nothing to do with what is right morally, ethically, or legally … it was all a show.
Anyone watching saw the terrible opening performance of Senators Grooms & Goldfinch. We then all witnessed the brilliant performance of Treasurer Loftis and his representatives / lawyers. Curtis and his TEAM laid out his case and we all thought it was over … slam dunk … Curtis was vindicated.
Then the rest of the Senators got their “10 minutes each of Q&A” … and it became obvious the outcome was predetermined.
The final vote was 33 to 8 (with 5 excused absences).
But even the 8 that voted in favor of Treasurer Loftis … they all sat there relatively silent knowing the “fix was in” … just like so many times in our school choice fight. It was a railroading because that is what THEY all wanted.
This was not about Curtis Loftis … this was about POWER, CONTROL, MONEY … and petty personal VENDETTAS … and now a lot more people have seen it first hand.
Let’s hope this is the “Shot Heard Round the WORLD” for South Carolina citizens to wake up to the problem which is our SC State Legislature – especially the SC Senate. Not some of them, not a few in leadership … not just the ones who voted against Curtis Loftis … but (sadly) every single one of them. Silence is compliance. Where was any elected SC Senator FIGHTING for Curtis Loftis … or US … yesterday? They were all responsible.
NOW … get ready and watch the #FakeNewsMedia and everyone else who “benefits” from getting rid of Curtis will start to pile on. Watch some (who have been shafting The People as well) try to reap some positive brownie points out of this to help ingratiate themselves with the grassroots as they claim outrage and try to come to Curtis’ defense. None of this is complicated once you see the mental manipulation that goes on in politics in general, and SC politics specifically.

WAR R0OM &
the SC TRUMP AGENDA?
It is a quick 7 minutes and 46 seconds video … but if you want to hear someone tell it like it is here in South Carolina, listen to the below video from STEVE BANNON’s War Room this past Saturday.
We talked about South Carolina being rated the most liberal “Red State” in the Nation by CPAC, Lindsey Graham … Drew McKissick / Ronna McDaniel … School Choice & K-12 Education Failures in SC … and the fact South Carolina has the highest marginal tax rate in the entire southeast – and legislators lying to us about it!!!
The MAGA America First TRUMP agenda has skipped over South Carolina … and we need to clean it up down to the precinct roots – all 2,307 PRECINCTS!!! It’s time to completely start over with any elected officials that do not want to get on board the TRUMP TRAIN for real … and the countdown is below.

Get’ta Steppin Podcast with Jeff Davis – 4/3/2025 (HERE)
We had a great time with the gentlemen from Freedoms Fence-Line (HERE) & the Get’ta Steppin Podcast (HERE) last night. It was two hours of discussion in northern Spartanburg County, specifically Campabello, about “Jeff Davis”, Closed Primaries, Lobbyist, School Choice, the Newberry Lawsuit … how we fix this political mess we have in South Carolina (#NeverSURRENDER!!!) … the state of the SCGOP / Drew McKissick and a couple points about Drew’s mentor CHAD CONNELLY and how nobody has paid back the missing $275,406 misappropriated from K-12 children with special needs.
“Where is the $275,406 Attorney General Alan Wilson? “
-Jeff Davis

It may have been official before … but it is undeniable now … Treasurer Curtis Loftis is running for re-election!!! We could not be more excited because Curtis is literally the most popular elected official in the State of South Carolina … and he is one of, if not “the” most honest. If you want to know about the corruption going on in Columbia & with our State Government … listen to Curtis!!!
Here is just one quote from the FITSNews interview to explain it all – and quote that we could not agree with more (from our own personal experience):
“If you stand up to the power structure, you’re going to get hit.“
-Treasurer Curtis Loftis
And standing up to the power structure in Columbia is exactly what Curtis has done for the citizens of South Carolina since his inauguration on January 12th, 2011 … and like others that have stood up, Curtis has been beat up unmercifully over it.
Literally, right now, certain SC State Senators (more on “who & why” later – but hint: Larry Grooms & Stephen Goldfinch) are trying to pin a $1.8 BILLION accounting issue that has nothing to do with the Treasurer’s Office on Curtis. It is utter insanity … and we wrote about it back on February 10th (see HERE) … but it is Columbia & South Carolina Politics (and corruption – that we are determined to keep EXPOSING!!!)
Thank You Curtis Loftis!!!
A huge THANK YOU from the grassroots activists to Treasurer Curtis Loftis for sticking it out for another term for the citizens and taxpayers of South Carolina. We know you didn’t intend to run for another term … and would like to enjoy retirement … (like the rest of us!!!) … but once you see the CORRUPTION IN SOUTH CAROLINA, how do you walk away? Good men, like Curtis, can’t walk away. Neither can we!!!
