Folks “complain” that it is hard to get people to turn out for Precinct ReOrg. Well, that is simply not true … and we would remind everyone of our friend Pressley Stutts‘ favorite sayings as it part of his email footer:

Sure, it is work … but you can do it … and remember to MAKE IT FUN!!!

We get questions all the time about how to reach out to prospects. Part of that outreach is sending a mailer … or in our case we put together a package to deliver to our Precinct Members, HARD Rs, and people we noted as having a TRUMP sign or flag in their yard during the elections.
The packet was simple, it included (#1) our Greenville County Republican Party ReOrg Register “newspaper”, (#2) a letter, with a personal picture, inviting folks to ReOrg (and coffee / donuts beforehand) … & (#3) a fun little TRUMP $100 Bill. We put all that in a clear plastic bag that has a hole to leave on the front doorhandle. #Easy!!! #BeCREATIVE!!!
FRIENDS … MAKE THIS FUN!!! With TRUMPS victory in November … and with all the excitement and activity coming out of Washington DC … this is literally the best time ever to RECRUIT, RECRUIT, RECRUIT!!!

ABOUT THE AUTHOR …
Jeff Davis is co-founder of mySCGOP.com. Jeff is a ’89 graduate of The Citadel and in 1993 received his Law/MBA from USC. A tax attorney / CPA licensed in Georgia, Jeff is an uncompromised school choice advocate for K-12 children with special needs. Originally from Charleston, and having practiced in Atlanta, Jeff and his wife Olga now live in Greenville. Because he dared to run against Drew McKissick for SCGOP Chairman – coming in 2nd with Drew only being reelected by 1.8% (HERE & HERE) – and in September 2021 he told the State Executive Committee that Chad Connelly had been under SLED investigation for a year and a half … and it was true (HERE & HERE).

No, we don’t encourage “betting” … but we do encourage following the BETTING ODDS (aka “Predication Markets”). Polls can be easily manipulated … and these prediction markets can be as well … but when people have to put their money where their mouth is, it is a lot harder to fake.
We love studying these elections … the data, the momentum, the candidate’s personal pros/cons, the donors and the dark money really controlling candidates … the CONSULTANTS … it’s all fascinating.
As we teach, NOTHING is what it seems in politics.
This SC Governor’s campaign will be one to study. The “autopsy” will be amazing. We expect the “Powers that Be“ will start listening to the MAGA / America FIRST grassroots in the future … but we will find out for sure if there are lessons to learn next Tuesday.
