Alabama Embryo Ruling … Why Not SC?

Alabama Supreme Court, Embryos are Children (HERE)
This past week in what appears to be a HUGE VICTORY for the Pro-Life movement … the Alabama Supreme Court ruled that IVF Embryos are children. It should be a huge boost for the Personhood Movement … and there is a lot of commentary out there on what this means going forward … so do a little “google research” as it is all a developing situation.
It was a 7-2 ruling from an all-Republican Alabama Supreme Court, citing Bible verses and an 1872 state law called the Wrongful Death of a Minor Act … but ultimately Justice Jay Mitchell (HERE & HERE) declared parents may sue over the death of a child regardless of whether the child is born or unborn.

Why Alabama & Not SC?
NOW FOR THE GOOD STUFF … what we need to “learn” from all this:
First of all … LOOK BIG PICTURE!!!
Alabama is only 230 miles to the west of South Carolina. Why is the SC Republican Platform being implemented in Alabama … and not South Carolina? And “who” is to blame for that? From our experience it is in fact the “conservative” legislators who tell us one thing … but do another.
Like how the South Carolina Freedom Caucus (SCFC) led leftist bill H4023 (now law) … “Who is Fixing FIRST STEPS?“ (read HERE) … and what we have personally experienced in the utter FAILUIRE of South Carolina School Choice by both the SCFC & the supermajority SC House Republican Leadership. Ask yourself, why can’t “conservative” legislators in the SC House move the (P)ACE Scholarship Bill? “S285 … it is PERSONAL” (read HERE).
We need … and expect … a real “REBOOT”!!!

No, we don’t encourage “betting” … but we do encourage following the BETTING ODDS (aka “Predication Markets”). Polls can be easily manipulated … and these prediction markets can be as well … but when people have to put their money where their mouth is, it is a lot harder to fake.
We love studying these elections … the data, the momentum, the candidate’s personal pros/cons, the donors and the dark money really controlling candidates … the CONSULTANTS … it’s all fascinating.
As we teach, NOTHING is what it seems in politics.
This SC Governor’s campaign will be one to study. The “autopsy” will be amazing. We expect the “Powers that Be“ will start listening to the MAGA / America FIRST grassroots in the future … but we will find out for sure if there are lessons to learn next Tuesday.
