Municipal RUNOFF ELECTIONS were yesterday and the results were surprising … to some … but we must also ask “should they have been surprising?”
Grassroots conservatives are seeing a MOVEMENT afoot … or at least a movement in the right direction … as voters are rejecting the old line politics, identifying the political “manipulation”, and as local America FIRST GOPs and grassroots “newbies” to the political arena are figuring out HOW TO GET INVOLVED & WIN ELECTIONS.
It is all encouraging as these WINS will only motivate further the grassroots leading into the February 24th, 2024 presidential preference primary here in South Carolina … and with an expected HUGE win for TRUMP at that time … the momentum will only carry into the June 11th, 2024 Republican (and Democrat) primaries. Yes, it is going to be an interesting 2024 election year in South Carolina.
See below for a few of the highlights or the SC State Election Commission Results (HERE) for your local runoff election results.
New Charleston Mayor
In what can only be called in conservative corners an upset miracle (spurred on by smart campaigning & hard work – and a really troubled “D” incumbent), Republican William Cogswell, Jr. (HERE) pulled off a victory in the nonpartisan runoff election yesterday and will be the next Mayor of Charleston.
Conservatives Republican mayors will now hold THE BIG THREE … Columbia, Charleston & Greenville. Who would have expected that 2 years ago? Not many, if any at all.
Is their a movement afoot? Will it translate into “conservative” victories for the SC State House and local County Councils on June 11th, 2024? Stay tuned, but it appears so …

Pickens GOP Wins (4 – 0)
These local municipal elections are all “nonpartisan” (except for just 5 partisan municipalities in SC). But as we know, NOTHING IS NONPARTISAN anymore.
The Pickens County GOP went all-in on 4 local nonpartisan municipal runoff elections … and won them all, 4 – 0. It was a huge success for the America FIRST Pickens County GOP so much so that their Chairman Bob Fetterly told us “I now believe in the Easter Bunny again.“
This is why the the grassroots gets involved … to make a difference LOCALLY so that it will “trickle up” (HERE) and eventually make a difference statewide and nationally.
We know it was in jest … but NO Bob … it’s not the Easter Bunny … it’s HARD WORK, TEAMWORK, and good LEADERSHIP!!!
