Each Memorial Day, we honor the fallen heroes who lived out Philippians 2:3-4 with their very lives:
“Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.”
Philippians 2:3-4
They didn’t serve for glory or comfort. They laid down their lives for their brothers in arms, for their country, and for generations they would never meet. True humility. Radical selflessness. The highest form of love.
This weekend we remember them with gratitude and resolve. May we carry their spirit forward, putting America and our fellow citizens above ourselves, standing firm in faith, and defending what they so bravely defended.
Rest in honor, heroes. We will not forget. God bless our fallen patriots and God bless the United States of America.
To repeat from last Sunday (HERE), as we celebrate today’s rededication of our beloved nation, let’s reflect on the profound words of Galatians 5:1 and 13.
Happy Sunday!
