Runoff Elections – Your Vote is Worth 20X
GO VOTE!
Municipal RUNOFF ELECTIONS are TODAY and polls are open from 7AM – 7PM. Check your local County Board of Elections (HERE) or check your Sample Ballot (HERE) to see if you have a runoff election in your area.
And if you have a runoff election … it is critically important that you GO VOTE!!!
Why is it so important? LOW TURNOUT!!!
WORK THE NUMBERS:
100% Voter Turnout: If every registered voter came out to vote, your 1 vote would count for 1 vote.
50% Voter Turnout: If only half the registered voters came out to vote, your 1 vote would count for 2 votes.
25% Voter Turnout: … your 1 vote counts for 4 votes.
5% Municipal Runoff Election Turnout … your 1 vote counts for 20 VOTES!!!
Basically, a little bit of work in a low turnout election can have a huge multiplier effect in outcome. It is a great ROI (Return on Investment).
GO VOTE and get others out to vote as well.
