The November 2023 elections are over. Do you see how fast that came and went? Do you see the “countdowns” above … and how quickly they are all working down to ZERO?

Time is not our friend and there is no time like the present to DO!!!

Two months from today, on January 9th, 2024, it will be the first day of the 2024 SC Legislative Session. And it is an election year for all 124 SC House Reps … and all 46 SC State Senators.

This only comes around every 4 years … and it is literally the best opportunity to have your voices heard by our elected officials in Columbia. Don’t waste it!!!

Legislators normally get 1 or 2 big things done each legislative session. We don’t have time for that slow pace anymore. Send us your list!!!

What else goes hand in hand with promoting your legislative agenda?

RUNNING FOR OFFICE!!!

Legislators are motivated to show they are doing something “if” they have competition for their seat.

One of the consistent things we hear from candidates (winners & loser) that they wish they had done differently is to START CAMPAIGNING EARLIER!!! Make your decisions NOW and get out there. Don’t wait for the filing PERIOD to open next March 16th … get out there TODAY!!!

One of the biggest celebratory days at the SC State House is at noon on March 30th. Why? Because that is the deadline to file to run for office … and legislators LOVE IT … really LOVE IT … if no one files to run against them. There are some good ones down in Columbia … but this is America and competition is what we are about.

There is no greater comfort, no deeper peace, than living under the covering of the Lord – knowing the risen Savior walks with us through every trial, every joy, and every moment of this life. There is no greater blessing.

May the glorious truth of Easter, the risen Lord, fill your heart with love, gratitude, compassion, and unshakable hope.

Dear South Carolina Patriots,
This Palm Sunday, let us not just be “political actors” following a script, but “transformed citizens” who lead with a conscience shaped by faith rather than the shifting winds of culture.

As Romans 12:2 reminds us: “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” We remember the Triumphal Entry of Jesus, where the crowds sought a worldly king, but received a Savior who transforms from the inside out. Riding humbly on a donkey, He rejected earthly pomp as the people shouted “Hosanna!”

Today, we face the same choice: conform to cultural / political patterns or pursue mind-renewing transformation. As transformed citizens, may we engage politics with humility, truth, courage, and moral clarity rooted in Christ.

Happy Sunday!
