SC Abortions … by the Numbers!

“Ruby Red” South Carolina? Super Majority of Republicans? Does this seem to be getting better to you?

Published

on

It is important to look at the numbers … and would you have ever though that 124% MORE ABORTIONS happen in Greenville vs. Charleston?

We thought all the liberals lived in Charleston … and Greenville was the “buckle of the Bible Belt”?

Yes … there are probably a thousand excuses the “establishment” will give you … but are any acceptable to you? The numbers are the numbers and there are no excuses.

And when your Greenville legislators (or any for that matter) start giving you “excuses” … realize the only real excuse is they are worried they won’t get re-elected if they push hard for LIFE or other SC Republican Platform issues.

“Watch what they Do, not what they SAY.”

New 6 Week Heartbeat Bill?

Yes … expect the excuse that the 6 Week Heartbeat Bill was passed and approved by the SC Supreme Court … so it should get better, right?

MORE AT-HOME ABORTIONS?: Well, according to our friends at Equal Protection South Carolina (www.equalprotectionsc.org), the new 6 week Heartbeat Bill legalized “Do It Yourself” at-home abortions by striking the existing law (“old” SC Code Section 44-41-80(b)) which made it a crime to self-kill your own pre-born baby. The Democrats slipped that in … but you don’t see the “establishment” Republicans bringing that up do you?

[NOTE – 2023 REMOVED Section 44-41-80(b): “(b) Except as otherwise permitted by this chapter, any woman who solicits of any person or otherwise procures any drug, medicine, prescription or substance and administers it to herself or who submits to any operation or procedure or who uses or employs any device or instrument or other means with intent to produce an abortion, unless it is necessary to preserve her life, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall be punished by imprisonment for a term of not more than two years or fined not more than one thousand dollars, or both.”]

MORE “TOTAL” ABORTIONS THAN 5 YEARS AGO?: But also, look at the below DHEC Stats for the last 5 years. Even if you take out ALL the abortions from 7 weeks upwards which would now in theory be illegal … 2023 (and almost certainly by 2024) will likely have MORE “6 or less week” abortions than the total South Carolina abortions in 2018 (not even including the at-home DIY abortions).

2018 – 4,646 total SC Abortions (0 – 23 weeks)

2022 – 3,746 six week and less abortions (only 2,050 in 2018)

“Ruby Red” South Carolina??? Super Majority of Republicans??? Does this seem to be getting better to you??? Not to us! It appears we are going to have more total abortions than 5 years ago, just sooner and more at-home.

DHEC Abortion Reports

By law, DHEC does produce an annual report on abortions each year. Check out the numbers yourself and let us know what you conclude. Are we wrong? Are we missing something? The “establishment” tells us things are so much better … and are celebrating. What are we missing?

John 14:23

Published

Politicians (and voters) often claim “Christian values” while ignoring Jesus’ commands like speaking truth, hypocrisy, performative piety, vindictiveness, etc., etc.

Policy positions mean nothing if personal and political conduct disobeys Christ. A leader can quote Scripture on stage but lack God’s presence if their actions contradict it.

Christian influence is not measured by votes won or laws enacted, but by whether God can truly “make His home” in the hearts and actions of those who wield power.

“Jesus replied, Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.”

John 14:23

To repeat from last Sunday (HERE), as Veterans Day approaches, the verse from John 15:13, “Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends”, offers a profound life lesson in selfless sacrifice.

Happy Sunday!

Veterans Day 2025

& Poland Independence Day!

Published

on

Veterans Day (originally known as Armistice Day) is a federal holiday in the United States observed annually on November 11, for honoring military veterans of the United States Armed Forces. It coincides with holidays in several countries, including Armistice Day and Remembrance Day, which also occur on the anniversary of the end of World War I. Major hostilities of World War I were formally ended at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918 when the Armistice with Germany went into effect. At the urging of major U.S. veteran organizations, Armistice Day was renamed Veterans Day in 1954.

Veterans Day is distinct from Memorial Day, a U.S. public holiday in May: Veterans Day commemorates the service of all U.S. veterans, while the older Memorial Day, which grew out of Civil War commemorations, specifically honors those who have died while in military service. Another military holiday that also occurs in May, Armed Forces Day, honors those currently serving in the U.S. military. Additionally, Women Veterans Day is recognized by a growing number of U.S. states that specifically honor women who have served in the U.S. military.

BONUS CONTENT – POLAND INDEPENDENCE DAY: Independence Day (Polish: Narodowe Święto Niepodległości) is a national day in Poland celebrated on 11 November to commemorate the anniversary of the restoration of Poland’s sovereignty as the Second Polish Republic in 1918 from the German, Austro-Hungarian and Russian Empires. Following the partitions in the late 18th century, Poland ceased to exist for 123 years until the end of World War I, when the destruction of the neighboring powers allowed the country to reemerge. It is a non-working day and a flag flying day in Poland.

John 15:13

Published

PAs Veterans Day approaches, the verse from John 15:13, “Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends”, offers a profound life lesson in selfless sacrifice.

True love is measured not by what we gain, but by what we’re willing to give up, even everything, for the good of others. Veterans embody this when they risk or surrender their lives to protect fellow soldiers, families, and strangers they’ll never meet.

Ask yourself: “Who am I willing to inconvenience, exhaust, or even lose your life for?” Then act on it—small or large. That quiet choice to put someone else first is the same love the verse honors, whether in combat boots or daily life.

This Veterans Day, thank a vet not just with words, but by living the love they defended.

Greater love has no one than this:to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.

John 15:13

To repeat from last Sunday (HERE), Proverbs 29:2 cuts through the noise of this and every election season!

Happy Sunday!
