It has been a week of exposing the dirty distasteful backstory of what is really going on in the background of our local GOPs to undermine the legitimate elections of the March 2023 ReOrg & April County Conventions. Lies, Lies & more LIES!!! The disfunction and bizarre “group think” (or “we think”) has been eye opening to so many.

These activities are very concerning to folks … and some even call it a … get this … “criminal conspiracy”. All this has to do with ELECTION LAW and MONEY … and the use of GOVERNMENT AUTHORITY … so it get’s to be an interesting “legal” conversation.

It is one thing to talk about what needs to be done; it is quite another to be the “doer” who makes the hard, heavy decisions that others are too timid to make. While the critics focus on the “shortcomings” and “errors,” we stand with those who have the courage to act … as we know that true leadership isn’t found in the stands – it’s found in the arena.

Let’s pray for our brave service members deployed in harm’s way, for their families here at home, for President Trump and our military leadership as they protect America and our allies from threats abroad.

May we all strive to be doers of the word in our own community.

“But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.”

James 1:22

To repeat from last Sunday (HERE), Matthew 4:4 reminds us that while physical needs like food, security, and prosperity, are real and important, they are not the ultimate source of life or strength.

Happy Lent!

Matthew 4:4 reminds us that while physical needs like food, security, and prosperity, are real and important, they are not the ultimate source of life or strength. True sustenance, endurance, and victory come from feeding on every word that proceeds from God’s mouth – His truth, His promises, His guidance found in Scripture.

Bread sustains the body, but truth sustains the soul. Our integrity as a body depends on our commitment to the truth, even when it’s the harder path to walk.

Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.'”.

Matthew 4:4
