We are not talking the late musician Tom Petty (HERE) or the famous NASCAR driver Richard Petty (HERE) … but we are talking the petty little people out there in politics that do dirty little things just for spite.

PETTY DEFINED: The Urban Dictionary defines petty as “a person who is purposefully childish with the intent of eliciting a reaction,” or “someone who does something in an attempt to hurt another person but really makes themselves look stupid.”

Petty Email Tricks

There are two nasty “political” email tricks we have noticed over the years that are hard to believe, but actually happen all the time.

(#1) Unsubscribing others from emails: First off, we have people contact us all the time saying they no longer receive our emails and asking what happened. We will check and the system will say they unsubscribed.

But the person never unsubscribed … so what happened?

Generally the person has forwarded our email to others in their precinct … and one of those people (a RINO) marked the “unsubscribe” button at the bottom of the email footer.

Maybe by mistake … but most people know what they are doing, and they are doing it on purpose and to be nasty and petty.

SIMPLE SOLUTION … before you forward emails, remove the “unsubscribe” links from the footer of the email. Just highlight the links and hit delete … especially if you are forwarding the email to RINOs. 😉 It is easy.

(#2) Marking valid emails as “SPAM”: This petty little email trick is a classic.

As you may know, the more people that mark an email as “SPAM”, the more likely the big email providers (Google, Outlook, Yahoo, etc.) with automatically send those emails to “JUNK”.

Folks that don’t want others to see / read our emails (yes, RINOs again) will mark them as “SPAM” on purpose … and we have seen many an experienced political operative, and even politicians, mark our emails as SPAM.

We even had one person this month sign-up for our email (“shawn.m.miller@outlook.com“) … using an obvious fake name (“Jim LaHounae”) … and when they opened their first email from us (ironically a mySCGOP Happy Sunday email), they marked it as SPAM.

Really nasty right?!?!? Especially given the Sunday message … but this is what these petty & envious people do.

When folks are scared others will hear your message and learn … petty political people will do everything they can to silence your voice. Granted anyone could have signed up “shawn.m.miller@outlook.com” … but only the one person with that email address could have marked it as “SPAM”. Not nice.

DO SOMETHING PRODUCTIVE: As the saying goes … “it is better to light a candle than curse the darkness”.

Translation: if you’re not happy, do something about it … and that doesn’t mean go out and be petty and nasty to other people living their mission or dream … it means to go out an build something positive and good yourself.

Remember, “envy” is one of the seven deadly sins.

TRUMP Derangement Syndrome (TDS) (HERE) … we have all heard of it … pulled our hair out over it … and for those of us that like to get into the details and use critical thinking skills, we feel like it is utter insanity!!!!

Yes, we now know not to (generally) trust the mainstream media … and we know to ignore the “crazies” like the screaming lady pictured above who is now the posterchild for TDS … but what do you do when someone you KNOW PERSONALLY exhibits the exact same traits of derangement syndrome?

What do you do when a fellow County Executive Committeeman (EC) starts saying things that are objectively and provably FALSE?

What do you do when someone you have to work with personally won’t listen to ANY REASON whatsoever? Won’t meet and “talk”? Won’t open their email or look at a single document?

And worst of all … what do you do when “others” believe that person and act / vote based on what that person says?

It is a real quandary and frankly we believe this local “derangement syndrome” is ripping our communities and our Country apart … and is certainly rampant here in South Carolina and within the SCGOP and local County GOPs.

LOCAL DERANGEMENT SYNDROME:

The “Sauna Meeting” (HERE, HERE & HERE) is going to go down in SCGOP history as the perfect learning example of what is going on with this derangement syndrome that has seeped down into local politics.

The example is extreme in that you have an otherwise reasonable appearing person (Jeff Magg) claiming the Greenville County Republican Party (GCRP) does not have a required “budget” … but that same person is the one who created the budget (as the elected Treasurer at the time), called it a budget, presented the budget for passage to the GCRP EC Body (on video 2/7/2022), and voted for the budget at least twice.

Say what?!?!?

And worse … this same person (Jeff Magg), a local Greenville Precinct EC and the former GCRP Treasurer … led a group of other individuals to call an “emergency” Special Meeting with less than 48 hours notice over the issue (that the Budget he prepared & presented in 2022, now never existed) … and other people actually believed him.

And he wasn’t alone … a local attorney and former GCRP Chairman from the 1990s (Stephen Brown, Esq.) supported Jeff Magg, egged him on, and helped orchestrate the entire “Sauna Meeting” debacle. It is bizarre … so folks need to ask themselves, “what is really going on?”

[NOTE: Some people have issues … like the TDS posterchild lady above … while others, for their own personal and political motives, are purposefully stoking derangement syndrome in uninformed individuals – and those people need to be EXPOSED!!! This selfish mental manipulation (HERE, HERE & HERE) is what we want everyone to learn to identify … and we must if we want to Save South Carolina & Save America.]

JUST THE FACTS:

February 3rd, 2023: The GCRP Executive Board, including Jeff Magg & Stephen Brown, met at the GCRP HQ and both voted in favor (7-1) to approve the 2022 Budget & $1,250 Lease Terms.

Feb. 6, 2022: Jeff Magg submits Budget to Chairman Davis.
Feb. 7, 2022: Jeff Magg (as Treasurer) presents Budget to the full GCRP EC Body.
March 1, 2022: Jeff Magg quits as GCRP Treasurer after asked to prepare appropriate financial statements.
March 7, 2022: GCRP EC Body UNANIMOUSLY (less 1) passes 2022 Budget and Lease.
Jan. 31, 2023: GCRP EC Body renews exact same Budget for 2023.

September 14th, 2023: Jeff Magg leads a less than 48 hour notice emergency “Special Meeting” and state to the GCRP EC Body that:

• He has never seen a Budget (even though Jeff Magg prepared the Budget and presented it to the GCRP EC Body when he was Treasurer).
• GCRP does not have a Budget (even though Jeff Magg voted to approve the Budget and lease terms at least twice).
• GCRP did not have access to HQ until mid-March 2022 so we should not have paid rent starting 1/1/2022, even though the GCRP had full 24/7 access starting 12/15/2021 and had numerous events at the building (and Jeff Magg personally attended such events / meetings).

It should have been clear then, but when everyone around you is doing one thing, and you want to put food on your table, it is hard to stand up and do the obvious right thing.

Although the identity of this man is not truly known, he is believed to be August Landmesser (HERE). Landmesser run afoul of the German Nazi Party over his unlawful relationship with Irma Eckler, a Jewish woman. Unlawful for “dishonoring the race”, specifically “racial infamy,” under the 1935 Nuremberg Laws (HERE).

Yes … that was just 88 years ago.

Different Times?

Some will say we live in different times … that things are more advanced now … more civilized. But look around you, is it different today? Has human nature changed that much since then? It hasn’t changed in two thousands years … and we don’t think it has changed much in the last 88 years either.

SCHOOL CHOICE: Our personal cause that dragged us into this political mess is simple … “real” school choice for K-12 children with special needs. We did not seek it out, we fell into it by chance. But then we saw obvious corruption, all over money & control, that put children last. It was being perpetrated by “leaders” … by elected officials & conservative think tanks … all for the financial benefit of the monied special interest … and their personal paychecks. (HERE, HERE & HERE) We had to stand up and fight it!!!

But guess what … A LOT of “good” folks just sat on the couch, or worse, helped them … and many still are to this day!!!

No, it is not just school choice … it is EVERYWHERE!!! It is all the issues you care about … and the corruption exists locally, at the state level … and in Washington, DC. Whatever you are fighting for … others going along to get along is likely your biggest enemy … like in 1936 Germany.
