Four Huge America FIRST VICTORIES!!!

York County, Dorchester County, Anderson County, Barnwell County

Published

on

The America FIRST movement had HUGE WINS over the past few days with clean sweeps in several counties.

> YORK COUNTY

York was probably the biggest win with an overwhelming victory in favor of Chairman Elect Larry Barnett and his team taking every position in county party leadership.

The York County Republican Party victory was particularly sweet after …

#1)  An “anonymous” hit-piece mailer (now linked to Chad Connelly & the SCGOP … and it apparently backfired bigtime) was sent to York Delegates slandering Jeff Davis, his wife Olga Lisinska & mySCGOP … and

#2)  Freedom Caucus Congressman Ralph Norman (who also endorsed Nikki Haley for President on 2/15/2023) sent an endorsement letter for the then current “establishment” State EC … slandering the America First group as “so-called ‘patriots'”.

Congressman Norman’s endorsed RINO candidate received only 12% of the vote.

#WatchWhatTheyDoNotWhatTheySay!!!

> DORCHESTER COUNTY

Dorchester County also had a huge win with the RE-ELECTION of State Executive Committeeman Joe Cali with a landslide victory 63% (to 37) of the vote.  The America FIRST team rallied behind Joe … and also swept 27 of the 29 State Delegates as well.  #GreatJob!!!

Joe was specifically targeted for VOTING FOR ELECTION INTEGRITY (and for simply talking to the “lepers” as Drew McKissick publicly called us in press articles).  Establishment legislators came out in force with endorsements against Joe … but that backfired as well!!!

As in York County … it is clear LEGISLATOR ENDORSEMENTS DO NOT WORK!!!

Your local county GOP is there to HOLD LEGISLATORS ACCOUNTABLE.  Why would anyone think that a legislator endorsement is a good thing???

Some people are still playing the old school political game seeking political endorsements … not realizing that times have changes.  Truth & Transparency is the new new thing!!!

> BARWELL COUNTY

In our most special win, patriots in Barnwell County have been diligently organizing … working the numbers … and biding their time … and last night they finally had their convention.

Chairwoman Elect Billie Brant absolutely crushed it in Barnwell with a huge victory.  Billie and her husband Roland have been steadfast patriots throughout … so we can not be more excited for their teams victory.  Larry Hutto will be the new State Executive Committeeman … and we can not wait to see them both in Columbia at the SCGOP State EC meetings.

NOTE, these are not positions for life .. or family dynasties:  The Chairman for Barnwell has been there from at least 2009 from what we can tell … and his wife was also the State EC.  It seems it was time for a change.

Sore Losers?:   We also did notice that the long term Facebook group for the BCRP (run by the outgoing Chairman since 2009 as well) was “paused” yesterday.  We assume after the convention loss … but we will see what we can find out.  You will find it is typical that after a loss, the old guard likes to take their toys and go home.

We can attest that at least in Greenville, the old guard burned the house down on the way out.  The entire GCRP office was stripped bare of any paperwork and files … and the long term Facebook page was “rebranded” for the newly formed SCGOP Upstate RINO club.

> ANDERSON COUNTY

Finally, in what is most assuredly the most controversial county party election (in a good way) was last nights election of former SC House Rep. and now Chairman Elect Jonathon Hill … and the re-election of long term “thorn in the side of the establishment” State Executive Committeeman Dan Harvell.

Jonathon Hill famously was “kicked out” of the SC House Republican Caucus … so Jonathon was Freedom Caucus before there was a Freedom Caucus.

You may also recall that current SCGOP Chairman Drew McKissick and the SCGOP State Executive Committee (they should not get a pass) meddled in Jonathon’s June 2020 primary by sending mailers in support of his opponent.

The SCGOP hit-piece mailers FAILED and Jonathon was re-elected in 2020 … but it will be exciting times for sure to see the the duo of Jonathon Hill & Dan Harvell at the upcoming SC State Executive Committee meetings in Columbia.

#Winning!!!
[Note, Jonathon moved homes in 2022, thus changing districts, and did not seek re-election.]

Galatians 5:1 & 13

Published

on

As we celebrate today’s rededication of our beloved nation, let’s reflect on the profound words of Galatians 5:1 and 13.

What a timely reminder of the real foundation of liberty!

True freedom is far more than the rights we cherish – it is both a sacred blessing and a solemn responsibility to live rightly, to stand firm in faith, to honor our families, and to serve one another humbly in love.

May this day fill your hearts with peace and renewed strength, and may today mark a powerful, blessed recommitment of our nation to liberty under God.

Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage… For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.

Galatians 5:1 & 13

We celebrate our beautiful mothers today! Make sure to express your gratitude, honor and love to ANY mother in your life! Their hands have built the foundations of our families, and their “works at the city gate”, their leadership, advocacy, and tireless defense of our values, shape the future of our state.

Happy Mother’s Day!

Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.

Proverbs 31:31

Psalm 37:12-13

Published

The heat of the June primaries is here … but take heart! God is not worried. He is not pacing anxiously. He laughs at the wicked, not in cruelty, but in sovereign confidence, because He sees the full picture and knows the end of every story.

Friends, we are called to stand on the side of righteousness: truth, freedom, strong testimonies, and common sense. When attacks come, when words are twisted, or when the pressure rises, remember our job is not to match their anger or fear their schemes. Our job is to keep doing what is right, walk with integrity, and trust the One who holds tomorrow.

The plots of man are temporary. God’s purposes for our nation, our state, and our community will stand. Keep your heads high, your hearts steady, and your knees bent in prayer. Greater is He who is with us than any opposition we face.

To repeat from last Sunday (HERE), rise above the noise. When we are challenged, our strength lies not in reacting to our critics, but in remaining immovable in our convictions and on the right side of issues.

Happy Sunday!

The Joe Kernell Employment Contracts – PART 1

Where there is a WILL, there is a WAY.

Published

on

OK friends … this one is a homework assignment.

Joe Kernell has served as Greenville County Administrator since 2004. Over that time, he has become one of the most controversial figures in local Greenville politics. Despite repeated calls over the years—if not the past decade—to “make a change,” Kernell remains in place.

So what’s going on?

The 2024 County Council elections brought significant turnover, with four new members (out of twelve total) campaigning – at least in part – on removing Kernell. Yet, just before those new members were sworn in, his contract was renewed on December 3, 2024.

Then it happened again.

On January 20, 2026, Kernell’s contract was extended for an additional 18 months—reportedly as a “final” extension. Voters were told Council had no real option but to approve the extension.

But does that actually make sense?

Remember: Watch what they DO, not what they SAY.

So here’s the assignment:

Below are the employment contracts for Kernell dating back to 2006. Many of you have legal or human resources backgrounds. Take a close look and tell us what you see.

Is there – or was there – a way out of these contracts?

We’re told the answer is no. That Council’s hands were tied.

But as we often say: where there is a WILL, there is a WAY.

So the real question becomes:

Was there simply no will to replace Kernell?

Send us your thoughts: team@mySCGOP.com
