See the actual Chad Connelly (false) Sworn Affidavit

Can you see the lies? Can you see the excuses?

Published

on

The SC Judicial Reform article published earlier (HERE) detailing how the SC Courts gave Chad Connelly a “pass” on filing a false sworn affidavit … otherwise commonly known as committing perjury … has really stirred up a few folks. It is one thing to talk about judicial “corruption”, but to see it firsthand is troubling. [NOTE: We will have what the SC Attorney General’s Office is saying here soon.]

Some of you have asked to see a copy of the actual false sworn affidavit. It is included (pages 126 & 127) as part of the Record On Appeal (HERE), but for easy of finding we have included a copy below.

Remember, Chad filed this sworn Affidavit as part of (#1) a MOTION TO DENY PRELIMINARY INJUNCTION AND TO DISMISS THE COMPLAINT (filed on 3/4/2020), (#2) ANSWER & COUNTERCLAIM (filed on 3/4/2020 – suing me for “Abuse of Process”), and (#3) MOTION FOR SANCTIONS (filed on 3/6/2020 – again, further going after me for seeking this Declaratory Judgment in what was ultimately a winning effort to protect K-12 kids for Chad’s financial abuses).

LIE #1: This was not an innocent affidavit and a simple mistake … it was part of a well orchestrated offensive. Chad was at the time the Executive Director of Exceptional SC … he had to know they had not raised $1,045,000 in the past 21 days when they had only received non-binding pledges for $99,201. To say you were raising $50,000 per day, $350,000 per week … as part of three offensive court filings … and you are raising virtually ZERO … that is not a simple nor innocent mistake by the Executive Director of the Nonprofit.

LIE #2: What is even worse is the Chad Connelly “excuses”. Under Chad’s leadership in 2018, 2019 & 2020, Exceptional SC was a complete disaster. But Chad kept getting his $11,300 / mth paycheck for what he treated as a part time gig … and something he was totally unqualified to do.

Consider … this false sworn Affidavit was from March 4th, 2020. At that time the equivalent program in Georgia was breaking fundraising records … under the same “IRS Rules” Chad is using as an excuse for his failures in this false sworn Affidavit.

[NOTE: It was truly a dark time for K-12 kids with special needs & school choice here in South Carolina … and won’t get better until the SC House of Representatives passes the PACE / ACE Scholarship Bill (S 285) hopefully in January 2024 – call your House Rep!!! (HERE). Chad Connelly may be gone from Exceptional SC, but his legacy continues as the program is rated the Nation’s worst school choice program – and is the Nation’s only 100% government run tax credit scholarship program.]

Chad Connelly knew better … but he continued to lie even in this false sworn Affidavit to cover his own failures. K-12 kids with special needs paid the price … Chad Connelly knew it as we were screaming it from the mountaintops (but Chad refused to listen) … and Chad clearly lied about this as well in his false sworn Affidavit to further his personal vendetta.

As we teach, Watch what they DO, not what they SAY.

Now I am a “math guy” so lying about numbers is the easy thing to prove … but for the court to simply ignore BOTH of these massive lies, in a SWORN AFFIDAVIT filed with the Court seeking “abuse of process” and “sanctions” against me personally for filing this Declaratory Judgment seeking to help children as the SC Department of Revenue would not enforce the law (and were politically coving for Chad Connelly too) … which neither were awarded (but stay tuned … it gets worse) … is prima facie evidence we need judicial reform in South Carolina.

If ANYBODY else had done this … anybody who was not in the “political” class, protected by legislators … we would be in jail!!!

More to come …

Proverbs 18:13

Published

on

In the heat of passionate debates and important decisions for grassroots activism and community, let’s remember the timeless wisdom of Proverbs 18:13: ‘To answer before listening—that is folly and shame.’

This verse reminds us that true strength and leadership come not from quick reactions or assumptions, but from first seeking to understand. Rushing in with opinions or judgments, without fully hearing the facts or the people involved, often leads to division and missed opportunities.

Let’s strive to be known not just for the strength of our convictions, but for the wisdom of our discernment.

To repeat from last Sunday (HERE), Proverbs 24:11-12 serves as a sobering reminder that “staying out of it” is rarely a virtue when the vulnerable are at risk.

Happy Sunday!

Proverbs 24:11-12

Published

on

Proverbs 24:11-12 serves as a sobering reminder that “staying out of it” is rarely a virtue when the vulnerable are at risk. This is a profound life lesson for our movement: our faith and our politics cannot be mere spectators.

In a world that often encourages us to look the other way, we are called to be the ones who see, who intervene, and who act with conviction, knowing God who weighs every heart will hold us accountable not just for what we did, but for the excuses we made or we tempted to make.

Let our legacy be defined not by the comfort we maintained, but by the courage we showed in standing for those who could not or did not stand for themselves, guided by wisdom and compelled by love.

To repeat from last Sunday (HERE), as the Upstate hunkers down under this weekend’s ice and snow, it’s a good time to remember that while the weather outside is unpredictable, the promises we lean on are not.

Happy Sunday!

The Missing Story Behind the Alex Pretti Minnesota Shooting

What Is the New American Development Center?

Published

on

At mySCGOP.news, we focus on South Carolina state and local politics … but we did want to venture into the national story of the weekend — the Alex Pretti ICE shooting in Minnesota — and challenge you to look a little deeper (with all matters), and to take a peek at the “business” in the background in Minnesota.

There is A LOT of talk about the shooting — and we have all seen the videos circulating — but look in the background and ask yourself, What is the New American Development Center?”

A quick search shows it is not a daycare center … but yet another type of NGO (non-governmental organization) with the espoused (and government-funded) mission to reduce poverty for Somali and East African immigrant and refugee communities.

How much does that cost taxpayers? $1,441,733 in government grants in 2024. The Executive Director earned $163,900 in 2024$168,323 in salary for other “disqualified” people/persons … $40,000 in lobbying … and a host of other “expenses” that are very questionable as to the amounts, and we can only guess who received those funds.

See the publicly available IRS Form 990 below or HERE.

Is this yet another apparent sham uncovered with about five minutes of Google searches?

South Carolina Attorney General candidate DAVID PASCOE has committed to establishing a PCU — Public Corruption Unit — when he takes office. Minnesota (and the U.S.) may need a PCU too.

As we teach, when something doesn’t make sense — DIG DEEPER!!!
