DATA, DATA, DATA … there is so much information and data out there … you just have to know (#1) that it exist, and (#2) where to find it.
Well let us introduce you to the FEDERAL ELECTION COMMISSION (FEC) website. There is an absolute ton of data there, and we think you will find it extremely enlightening. [NOTE: Plus you will need to know this website for an upcoming article we think you will really love … stay tuned.]
Just go to https://www.fec.gov/ and poke around. See what you can find … and if you find anything interesting … SEND IT TO US!!!
HAVE FUN RESEARCHING!!!
Oh … and best of all … IT’S FREE!!!
Here are two highlights you really want to check out…
PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE MAP
Now that we are into Presidential Preference Primary Campaign Season … and y’all know how we like to #FollowTheMoney … you really have to poke around on the FEC Presidential Candidate Map.
Not that money is everything … but you can see “who” really has a serious campaign … and which candidates are “pretenders”.
Mike Pence? $1.2 Million raised as of 6/30/2023? Compare that to the $19.2 Million for Vivek Ramaswamy … the $20.5 Million for DeSantis (before his numbers tanked) … or the $33.1 Million for President TRUMP!
All good information, but what does that $1.2 million raised for Pence really tell you?
It explains why certain “politicians” and other gadflies (generally the #NeverTRUMP crowd) we know locally in South Carolina that have jumped ship and run to DeSantis (before his numbers tanked, but now are stuck). Watch “who” were big Pence supporters, and look at where they are today. It is interesting right … and it all has to do with the MONEY. [NOTE: Watch too where these folks will jump ship to next … it will happen so “watch & learn” … not an honest one in the crowd.]
Y’all do know the political campaigns do “PAY” people … right??? We will get into that later.
As for now, check out the Presidential candidates, see if there is anything interesting and send it our way.

INDIVIDUAL DATA
Next up is the individual candidates and donors data (HERE). There is a ton of stuff to sift through. Do some historical research … maybe check out “who” is donating to “whom”. [NOTE: Realize that some more experienced donors try to hide their donations … so see what you can find there too. We will have more on that later as well.]
Again, if you find anything interesting … or you just want us to know … send it to us at team@mySCGOP.com.
Happy researching!!!
