SCGOP Tyrannical “Top Down” Rule!!!
Sophistry: the use of fallacious arguments, especially with the intention of deceiving
If you have not heard by now, a large majority of the SCGOP State Executive Committee voted on Saturday to TAKEOVER the 2023 ReOrg & County Convention from the Greenville County Republican Party.
All of this was done on the recommendation of the SCGOP Rules Committee. See their crazy letter below:
Jeff Davis, Chairman of the GCRP (and also Chairman of mySCGOP) can attest that the GCRP has followed every rule as outlined by the SCGOP … and Jeff is unaware of ANY “rule” that the SCGOP has said the GCRP is violating.
The GCRP has actually sent letters to the SCGOP asking if ANY “rules” have been broken. See letter below dated 11/23/2022. The GCRP has NEVER received any response whatsoever saying they broke any rules.
P.S. And by the way … what is a “final arbiter of these rules”. An “arbiter” settles disputes … what is in dispute???
The Evidence? So this is the best part of the situation.
You will all notice there was no reasoning or support in the above letter recommendation from the “Rules Committee”. However, during the State Executive Committee Meeting on Saturday, Chairman Drew McKissick used the below PowerPoint Slide image as justification for TAKING OVER GREENVILLE.
Does anyone buy that the below “endorsement” letter is real???
NEVER HAPPENED: We for one can attest that mySCGOP.com in no way endorsed Joe Cunningham for Governor (over Henry McMaster or any other candidates). That would #1 be insane … and #2 we are are 501(c)(3) non-profit and endorsing candidates would be in a violation of our IRS non-profit status. We have checked with all the other named parties and they deny any endorsement either.

What Is the New American Development Center?
At mySCGOP.news, we focus on South Carolina state and local politics … but we did want to venture into the national story of the weekend — the Alex Pretti ICE shooting in Minnesota — and challenge you to look a little deeper (with all matters), and to take a peek at the “business” in the background in Minnesota.
There is A LOT of talk about the shooting — and we have all seen the videos circulating — but look in the background and ask yourself, “What is the New American Development Center?”
A quick search shows it is not a daycare center … but yet another type of NGO (non-governmental organization) with the espoused (and government-funded) mission to reduce poverty for Somali and East African immigrant and refugee communities.
How much does that cost taxpayers? $1,441,733 in government grants in 2024. The Executive Director earned $163,900 in 2024 … $168,323 in salary for other “disqualified” people/persons … $40,000 in lobbying … and a host of other “expenses” that are very questionable as to the amounts, and we can only guess who received those funds.

South Carolina Attorney General candidate DAVID PASCOE has committed to establishing a PCU — Public Corruption Unit — when he takes office. Minnesota (and the U.S.) may need a PCU too.
