2 Peter 3:9

Published

God is merciful. God is patient. When we question God’s timing as it may seem slow to us, we need to remember He gives us time to get to the perfect outcome. That often entails turning to HIM, seeking forgiveness and repenting. Embrace patience. God’s will, God’s timing!

” The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.”

2 Peter 3:9

To repeat from last Sunday (HERE), fools often rejects God’s ways. Fools are portrayed as those who reject instructions.

Matthew 7:13-14

Our life choices have consequences. The meaningful decisions we make may not be the popular ones, often require efforts and sacrifice. There is also the path of no effort, easy way out, whatever gets me there faster attitude bringing instant gratification, conforming to peer pressures often avoiding moral challenges. Choosing the less-traveled route of integrity, self-control, faithfulness, and alignment with God’s principles may be harder but is the righteous path bringing lasting reward. Choose wisely!

” Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.”

Matthew 7:13-14

To repeat from last Sunday (HERE), God is merciful. God is patient…

Proverbs 12:15

Published

Fools often rejects God’s ways. Fools are portrayed as those who reject instructions. Their egos and confidence in their “I know better” attitude blinds them and often leads them to poor decisions and eventually a failure. Wisdom is ability to put an ego and emotions aside, ability to listen, to value input from others. Wisdom is humility, receptiveness, selflessness, desire to grow … all contrasting the fool’s arrogance.

The way of a fool seems right to them,

but the wise listen to advice.

Proverbs 12:15

To repeat from last Sunday (HERE), there is no need to be seeking public recognition or approval when it comes to your relationship with God.

Matthew 6:5-6

Published

There is no need to be seeking public recognition or approval when it comes to your relationship with God. Be authentic, humble, and focused on your personal heartfelt connection with the Lord, as he values the intent of your heart, your pure motives … followed by your actions.

And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.”

Matthew 6:5-6

To repeat from last Sunday (HERE), release your worries through prayer and gratitude, trusting in our Father to provide peace.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” This passage encourages believers to turn their anxieties into prayers and supplications, expressing gratitude to God. In doing so, they will experience a peace that transcends human understanding, which will protect their hearts and minds through their faith in Christ.”

This week more than ever we are reminding ourselves to stay firm in our faith and our conviction as we know the devil schemes are real! Be sober and watchful as there are seen and unseen forces at play that often lead to corruption, deception all the way to submission of good governance, mission and ultimately the well-being of the people! Be vigilant and righteous and follow God’s guidance in finding out truth and eliminate evil!

“Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.
