RJ May – Criminal Indictment Coming?

It’s not good … and may end up being the demise of the SC Freedom Caucus.  A leader and founding member of the SC Freedom Caucus, SC House Rep. RJ May, has gone dark … completely silent … even with his fellow caucus members who according to their new Chairman have not heard from RJ May in months.

If the SC Freedom Caucus can’t maintain the conservative high ground (HERE, HERE & HERE) … or the moral high ground … how long can it last???

In a federal court filing last Thursday (Click HERE or see below), it was revealed that Rep. May had, among other things, 19 Thumb Drives, 4 hard drives, 4 SD Cards and 2 DVD-Rs confiscated from his home by federal authorities on August 5th, 2024.  The court filing also disclosed the anticipated “filing of a criminal indictment within three months“.

It certainly does not appear to be a “gun” issue as RJ May initially tried to spin the search of his home as being.  Innocent until proven guilty of course … but stay tuned.

All Roads Lead to School Choice?:  Why did RJ May cross our radar?  Although RJ May proclaims to be a huge conservative … he has been a staunch supporter of globalist and now SC Superintendent of Education Ellen Weaver (who pushed the former gay porn actor Corey DeAngelis – HERE) … and RJ has consistently pushed the100% government-run private & Christian school choice.  It just doesn’t make sense … so DIG DEEPER!!!

Dear South Carolina Patriots,
This Palm Sunday, let us not just be “political actors” following a script, but “transformed citizens” who lead with a conscience shaped by faith rather than the shifting winds of culture.

As Romans 12:2 reminds us: “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” We remember the Triumphal Entry of Jesus, where the crowds sought a worldly king, but received a Savior who transforms from the inside out. Riding humbly on a donkey, He rejected earthly pomp as the people shouted “Hosanna!”

Today, we face the same choice: conform to cultural / political patterns or pursue mind-renewing transformation. As transformed citizens, may we engage politics with humility, truth, courage, and moral clarity rooted in Christ.

As we enter Passion Sunday,  Romans 8:11 reminds us of an incredible promise that fuels our hope and resolve. This is no ordinary encouragement, it’s the same resurrection power that defeated death itself now living in us through the Holy Spirit! In times of challenge, division, or weariness, whether in our personal lives, our communities, or our fight to uphold conservative values, the Spirit gives us strength to press on.

Just as God breathed life into the void, He is able to revive our flagging efforts, renew our weary spirits, and secure victory over the most daunting obstacles. We are called to stand firm in truth and labor in love, trusting that the same power that raised Christ is moving within us, transforming our families, our communities, and our nation.
