Dear Fellow Patriots,

As we reflect on our journey together across South Carolina, we are frequently reminded that defending our values requires not just strength, but steadfast character. We often encounter individuals and environments filled with hostility, bitterness, or ugly behavior meant to provoke and divide us.

But true patriotism is defined by how we respond in those moments. Instead of matching anger with anger, we are called to take the high road.

Scripture gives us a powerful blueprint for this in Romans 12:20-21:
“If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head. Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.”

When we choose to remain exceptionally kind, welcoming, and gracious in the face of animosity, we don’t show weakness, we show the ultimate strength. Responding with goodness disrupts the plans of those who wish to see us fail, disarming them entirely.

Thank you for continually representing our movement with dignity, grace, and unshakable faith. Let us never be overcome by the negativity around us, but instead continue to conquer evil by doing good.

To repeat from last Sunday (HERE), Tuesday brings the runoff elections, and many of us are heading to the polls without great enthusiasm. The choices feel limited and imperfect at best. Even so, let us hold fast to this truth: “For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.” – Romans 8:18.

Tuesday brings the runoff elections, and many of us are heading to the polls without great enthusiasm. The choices feel limited and imperfect at best. Even so, let us hold fast to this truth: “For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.” – Romans 8:18.

These imperfect battles and flawed options are part of the present struggle. They may frustrate us, but they are temporary. What matters is that we refuse to surrender the ground. Every vote cast helps shape the direction of our state and slows those who would move us further away from our goals and victories. Show up. Vote. Be engaged. Do what we can with the cards we’ve been dealt. The glory and the victories worth having are still ahead for those who remain faithful and engaged.

No, we don’t encourage “betting” … but we do encourage following the BETTING ODDS (aka “Predication Markets”). Polls can be easily manipulated … and these prediction markets can be as well … but when people have to put their money where their mouth is, it is a lot harder to fake.

We love studying these elections … the data, the momentum, the candidate’s personal pros/cons, the donors and the dark money really controlling candidates … the CONSULTANTS … it’s all fascinating.

As we teach, NOTHING is what it seems in politics.

This SC Governor’s campaign will be one to study. The “autopsy” will be amazing. We expect the “Powers that Be“ will start listening to the MAGA / America FIRST grassroots in the future … but we will find out for sure if there are lessons to learn next Tuesday.

We seek leaders who communicate clearly and honestly with the people they serve. Leaders who demonstrate a genuine willingness to serve every South Carolinian – not just special interests or party insiders. Leaders who prioritize doing what is right for our state over political ambition, and who embrace transparency so citizens can see how decisions are made and where their tax dollars go.
