Sister Senators Receive JFK Profile in Courage Award

Why? What is their limit now … none?

Published

10/29/2023: JFK Profile in Courage Award in Boston

Is it courage to stand up for the Republican Platform (& Life) … or to stand up against it?

Is it courage to violate your commitment to the Republican Platform (& Life) … or did you just run as a “Republican” because you have to in South Carolina to get elected?

Is it courage to campaign for office and express your true beliefs … or to mislead your constituents “just to get elected”?

Is it courage to vote your conscience or the will of your constituents (whatever the reason) and just go home … or to “milk” the situation for AWARDS and PRAISE (by the left) … and DONATIONS?!?!?!

We got involved in this political mess because of School Choice … AND THE LACK OF COURAGE of almost any elected official to stand up for these K-12 children with special needs against the “monied special interest” and the establishment that wanted a 100% government run ESA program (that won’t pass constitutional musters – HERE).

We are watching that same LACK OF COURAGE in SC House Republicans right now (HERE).

Well, we haven’t gotten an “award” for courage … or a trip to Boston Massachusetts to be celebrated like Liz Chaney (2022), Mitt Romney (2021), Nancy Pelosi (2019) & Barack Obama (2017) … we have only been defamed and slandered, in fact even by one of the “Sister Senators” that received this award for courage in Boston over the weekend (but more on that later).

We wish she had the courage to tell the TRUTH … but enough of that for now. 😉

Courage(n): mental or moral strength to venture, persevere, and withstand danger, fear, or difficulty.

Courage or Opportunistic?

We don’t know the answer here … but we have seen A LOT of self-promotion and celebration of three “Republican” Sister Senators … so we have to ask did they do it because of courage, or was it opportunistic? Was it a way to make yourself relevant in a National conversation? A way to walk on stage in Boston at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum (HERE) to be praised by folks that would normally not speak to you.

The three “Republican” Sister Senators were not the only “Republicans” to vote against they near total ban this past year (there were 6 total) … but the Sister Senators were the only three “Republicans” to vote with Democrats against the 6 week fetal heartbeat bill.

Why? What is their limit now … none? Will they vote with Democrats all the way on Pro-Choice issues … forgetting that LIFE is the #1 issue in the SC Republican Platform?

Was it courage … or was it opportunistic?

You tell us …

Hebrews 13:8

Published

on

Hebrews 13:8 offers a timeless standard for all of us: true leadership—at any level—is marked by unwavering consistency, reflecting the unchanging nature of Christ, who is the same “yesterday, today, and forever.”

A person of integrity remains firmly anchored to their core principles, undeterred by shifting political winds, proximity to power, or peer influence. They provide a steady foundation for those they lead and those around them. When someone begins to shift positions or abandon long-held convictions, it often signals questionable motives—whether driven by political expediency, access, promises of power, or personal reward.

In the end, Hebrews 13:8 reminds us that while the world constantly changes, a person truly worth your time and trust is one whose values remain as constant as the truth they embody.

To repeat from last Sunday (HERE), as we reflect on the lessons of this past year, Colossians 3:15 serves as a powerful reminder that our most important work begins within, by allowing the peace of Christ to act as the “umpire” of our hearts in every decision we make.

Happy Sunday!

Colossians 3:15

Published

As we reflect on the lessons of this past year, Colossians 3:15 serves as a powerful reminder that our most important work begins within, by allowing the peace of Christ to act as the “umpire” of our hearts in every decision we make.

As we step into the New Year, let the defining lesson of 2025 be this: true influence is not found in the sharpest whispers , but in the truth, steady spirit and hard work that chooses gratitude for where we have been and invites the peace of Christ to guide where we are going, setting us toward even greater impact in 2026

To repeat from last Sunday (HERE), Isaiah 9:6 offers a powerful guide for personal growth this Christmas season …

Isaiah 9:6

Published

on

Isaiah 9:6 offers a powerful guide for personal growth this Christmas season.

The ‘Wonderful Counselor’ reminds us to seek wisdom and choose discernment instead of reacting impulsively. The ‘Prince of Peace’ calls us to cultivate a steady inner calm that holds firm, even in disagreements and heated debates.

Ultimately, this Scripture invites us to lead with character first – making sure our service flows from a commitment to wisdom, patience, and a peaceful spirit.

Happy Fourth Sunday of Advent!

To repeat from last Sunday (HERE), as we work tirelessly for stronger South Carolina, remember to remain patient, persistent, and firm in pursuing long-term goals, trusting that faithful effort will eventually yield results, much like a farmer’s harvest.

Happy Sunday!
