Happy Sunday – August 16th, 2026

James 3:16

Published

on

As patriots and as people of faith, we should strive to be different. We may disagree, compete, or find ourselves on different sides of an issue or supporting different candidates, but we should never allow ambition or personal benefit to become more important than integrity and the people who have stood beside us.

Success gained at the expense of trust, friendship, or principle is ultimately a poor bargain. Let us choose loyalty over convenience, integrity over personal gain, and peace over strife … and remember that the way we treat one another matters far more than any temporary victory.

James 3:16

Happy Sunday!

To repeat from last Sunday (HERE), a conference we attended this week brought a biblical truth into focus: every generation is tempted to mistake human innovation for ultimate wisdom.

Final Pre-Election Betting Odds

Darline Graham 42%

Published

on

No, we don’t encourage “betting” … but we do encourage following the BETTING ODDS (aka “Predication Markets”). Polls can be easily manipulated … and these prediction markets can be as well (IS THAT WHY RUSSELL FRY DROPPED 10 POINTS LAST NIGHT?) … but when people have to put their money where their mouth is, it is a lot harder to fake.

We love studying these elections … the data, the momentum, the candidate’s personal pros/cons, the donors and the dark money really controlling candidates … the CONSULTANTS … it’s all fascinating.

As we teach, NOTHING is what it seems in politics.

Betting Odds as of August 11th, 2026 at 7:41am:

Darline Graham: 42%
Ralph Norman: 26%
Russell Fry: 21% (down 10 overnight – Why? Manipulation by __?)
Mark Sanford: 4%
Mark Lynch: <1%

Romans 1:22–23

Published

on

A conference we attended this week brought a biblical truth into focus: every generation is tempted to mistake human innovation for ultimate wisdom. Even in ancient times, Paul warned that pride in culture’s sophistication. This leads to trading God for human substitutes.

Today those substitutes aren’t statues … they’re cultural trends, popular consensus, and our own clever systems. When we elevate them above God’s Word, we exchange real freedom for a counterfeit.

As people who care about our nation’s moral health, we cannot drift with every cultural wave. True liberty, wisdom, and strength come from God alone. Our call is to stand firm, anchored in the unchanging glory of the living God.

Romans 1:22–23

Happy Sunday!

To repeat from last Sunday (HERE), standing up for freedom, truth, and community isn’t always easy, and the road can feel long.

Galatians 6:9

Published

Standing up for freedom, truth, and community isn’t always easy, and the road can feel long. Yet just as the late-summer fields prepare to yield their harvest, our steady efforts and steadfast faith will bear good fruit.

Take time today to rest, recharge, and give thanks … so we can return renewed for another week of standing up for freedom. Let’s keep standing strong, doing good, and supporting one another with unwavering hearts.

Galatians 6:9

Happy Sunday!

To repeat from last Sunday (HERE), our love for country and our devotion to freedom are deeply intertwined with our faith. Long before liberty was written into our laws, it was planted in the human heart by our Creator.
