GOOD NEWS FRIDAY with our good friend Lawrence Lantz is a hit … and it’s BACK today for another installment of “REAL” (as opposed to “Fake”) News Media from the grassroots front!!!
We normally focus on local and state issues here at mySCGOP.news … a bottom up approach … but Lawrence gives us a “REAL” National News perspective of what is happening in America on the political front.
This weeks theme … MAGA Has Muscles This Summer!!!
Enjoy …
[NOTE: As a reminder, at HQ here in Greenville we are jam packed every day with a flurry of activity. Things could not be going better … but one critically important thing we do on Wednesday evenings is host an evening Prayer Group. We open up with a grassroots perspective of what is happening on the national political front as we go into the 2024 presidential primary election season. It is a packed house, but if you ever want to join, let us know.]
Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall – Paul wrote these words to remind the early church (and us today) that even those who feel strongest in their faith, principles, and positions are not immune to temptation, complacency, unexpected stumbles, rebellion and overconfidence. This week, let’s each examine our hearts:
-> Are we staying humble before God and dependent on His grace?
-> Are we continuing to build relationships, recruit new members, and train the next generation of conservative leaders?
-> Are we watching our words, actions, and witness so that nothing causes a brother or sister—or a potential voter—to stumble?
-> Are we guarding against the subtle temptations, discouragement, or compromise that have tripped up so many strong movements before us?
God is faithful. He never allows us to be tempted beyond what we can bear, and with every trial He provides a way of escape. Let us lean into that promise as we prepare for the battles ahead in 2026 and beyond.
“Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall.”

To repeat from last Sunday (HERE), Hebrews 13:8 offers a timeless standard for all of us: true leadership—at any level—is marked by unwavering consistency, reflecting the unchanging nature of Christ, who is the same “yesterday, today, and forever.”

Friends, we have been running a weekly Coffee & Politics Meeting out of our Greenville Headquarters for nearly 4 years now … and it has been a huge hit. It is how we communicate our vision and #Mission to or local Volunteers and Community … and it one way we RECRUIT more people to the MAGA America First movement.
Hebrews 13:8 offers a timeless standard for all of us: true leadership—at any level—is marked by unwavering consistency, reflecting the unchanging nature of Christ, who is the same “yesterday, today, and forever.”
A person of integrity remains firmly anchored to their core principles, undeterred by shifting political winds, proximity to power, or peer influence. They provide a steady foundation for those they lead and those around them. When someone begins to shift positions or abandon long-held convictions, it often signals questionable motives—whether driven by political expediency, access, promises of power, or personal reward.
In the end, Hebrews 13:8 reminds us that while the world constantly changes, a person truly worth your time and trust is one whose values remain as constant as the truth they embody.
“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday
and today and forever.”
Hebrews 13:8
To repeat from last Sunday (HERE), as we reflect on the lessons of this past year, Colossians 3:15 serves as a powerful reminder that our most important work begins within, by allowing the peace of Christ to act as the “umpire” of our hearts in every decision we make.

As we step into 2026, may it bring you stronger faith, closer families, bolder freedom, and all the abundant blessings of living in the greatest state in the Union.
Keep fighting the good fight, loving your neighbors, and making the Palmetto State proud.
As we gear up for the Precinct Reorganization in 2027, let’s commit to building an even stronger foundation for our values and our future.
Here’s to brighter days ahead!
Countdown (as of 01/01/2026): March 1st, 2027 – 424 days until 2027 PRECINCT REORG!
As we reflect on the lessons of this past year, Colossians 3:15 serves as a powerful reminder that our most important work begins within, by allowing the peace of Christ to act as the “umpire” of our hearts in every decision we make.
As we step into the New Year, let the defining lesson of 2025 be this: true influence is not found in the sharpest whispers , but in the truth, steady spirit and hard work that chooses gratitude for where we have been and invites the peace of Christ to guide where we are going, setting us toward even greater impact in 2026
“Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace.
And be thankful.”
Colossians 3:15
To repeat from last Sunday (HERE), Isaiah 9:6 offers a powerful guide for personal growth this Christmas season …
